You'll see the same familiar, friendly faces when you come to see us at Caryn Vet Hospital - Dr Peter Kirkpatrick and Nurses Emina and Dinah love to have a chat with clients and their pets. Pop in to say "Hi" and meet them today!

Dr Peter Kirkpatrick is thrilled to be serving Edgewater, Heathridge and surrounding suburbs in providing top notch veterinary services to cats, dogs, birds and wildlife alike.

Dr Peter graduated from Murdoch University over 17 years ago and has worked in Western Australia, Victoria and Tasmania with both small and large animals. He has especially loved his work starting My Pet's Mobile Vet, making house calls to people in Tasmania, Geraldton and Perth suburbs - another service he is looking forward to offering the local community.

He has an exciting past, winning the Young Australian of the Year award in 2002 for WA, and also contributes to the Gardening Australia Magazine Pet Column.

Dr Pete has a special interest in orthopaedics, stem cell therapy, complex surgeries and animal medicine - basically everything to do with your furry family member!

He and his wife Elise have recently welcomed their first little lady, Madeline, into their lives, and she is keeping their fur-child Gypsy on her toes! (PS - he loves showing clients cute photos!)

In his 'spare' time, Dr Pete loves getting away down South, riding his motorbike, reading and going for walks with his little family.

Veterinary Nurse

Our newest addition to our clinic is a Vet Nurse Dinah, who has joined us after spent 3.5 years in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. It's pretty obvious, she loves a challenge!

You can guarantee she's either spending time with a client chatting about who-knows-what or busy in clinic jumping in and out of consults. In her spare time, she loves watching scary movies, video games, playing with her two cats Cthulhu and Kraken, and continuing her veterinary education.
